Our knowledge base on personal data protection & information security in research and healthcare
We are building up the knowledge base in our area of personal and health data protection as we go along in our practice as DPO.
This base includes in particular :
- The frameworks of legislative requirements or soft laws on the protection of personal data and information security, used as a basis for audits. Including technical and organisational measures, they also serve as a basis for assessing processors.
- The specifics of local or national data protection or privacy laws, which we use in particular to guide our reviews of information and consent forms for participants in clinical studies.
- The standard maps of the processing operations most frequently encountered in our activity as DPO for the field of health research: clinical studies and bio-banking.
- The lexicon including threats and potential impacts on individuals, used to support data protection impact assessments.
- Our library of standard data protection clauses used for drafting data processing and/or transfer agreements.
This knowledge base will soon form the core of a data protection and privacy management application currently being designed.
